The last few years have seen a tremendous surge of interest in learning processes and 'learning how to learn'. Organisations are recognising how valuable an understanding of learning practices can be to business success, for example in training and knowledge acquisition, communicating effectively with customers and in developing good working relationships. Uniquely, SensoRhythm combines understandings of learning with the exceptional educational power of drumming. As a training tool, drumming recognises the diversity of learners and learning styles and is an excellent metaphor for understanding how employees can learn new skills and retain information effectively.

During the workshop, participants can explore learning processes, identify their preferred learning style, become aware of self-limiting beliefs and come to understand the importance of language in facilitating learning. Unlike conventional training approaches, drumming is fun, co-operative and relaxing and these qualities enable individuals to explore their learning without fear of failure (or loss of opportunity).
