Drumming has been used for centuries by the world's indigenous peoples, both informally and in ceremonies of marriage, birth or rites of passage. The physiological and psychological benefits of traditional drumming methods have long been explored; the repetitive, rhythmic vibrations of drumming have been shown to reduce stress levels, boost the immune system and promote an overall sense of wellbeing. Drumming not only energises the body, but also induces a relaxed, meditative state, releasing tension and helping participants to focus. Recent research in organisations has demonstrated the powerful effect that frequent drumming sessions can have on raising moral and reducing staff turnover rates.

As well as using drumming as a method of reducing stress levels in organisations, SensoRhythm also offers workshops combining drumming with other innovative stress management approaches, such as Kinesiology. Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that uses a non-invasive muscle testing technique to explore obstacles to health and well being.
