performance ...Both Erin and Elaine have performed extensively in a variety of settings and have collaborated with other musicians, artists and dancers to stage multi-media events. Performances with Repercussion, a seven piece female percussion group include: The Carnival of Cultures, Berlin, Kilkenny International Arts Festival, Edinburgh Hogmany Party, Glasgow Jazzfest, Drogheda Samba Festival, Kilkenny Arts Festival and The International Rotary Festival. They both recorded with The Pet Shop Boys, performing live on Channel 4's TFI Friday and performed with Jools Holland during a collaboration with The Drake Music Project, which enables people with disabilities to compose and perform music using technology. Erin and Elaine travelled to Italy and Amsterdam to perform at Queen's Day with Beat That! and performed live on The Paul Lion television show. In addition, they recently performed in Paris with the Brazilian/Celtic group Rame. Erin is currently musical director of Beat That!, based in Stirling and Elaine is musical director of Commotion, based in Edinburgh. Both bands play their own unique blend of Afro-Brazilian grooves, and have performed at carnivals, processions, festivals and charity events.
